Seward Highway: Watch for Dall Sheep
The drive along the Seward Highway provides jaw-dropping views of towering mountains, glacial lakes, and the Turnagain Arm’s tidal flats. As you follow the highway, keep your eyes peeled for Dall sheep. These white-coated creatures are often spotted on the mountainsides above the highway, grazing or resting on steep, rocky slopes.
