WS#01 Prince William Sound Glacier Cruise

Prince William Sound is one of the most spectacular and unspoiled wildernesses in the world. Majestic blue glaciers explode into its calm fjords. Humpback, killer, Minke, and Gray whales rise from dark waters, surface and spray with clouds of breath into the clear Alaskan air. Seals, Stellar sea lions, and otters sun themselves on frozen rafts of ice. Visit. Blackstone Bay with the massive 1700 ft towering Blackstone and Beloit Glacier. Experience the results of the rapid calving of a glacier in retreat. A forest service ranger provides first hand information on every trip. Included is a hot meal.

WS#02 26 Glacier Cruise

Travels over 140 miles into Prince William Sound where you will see 26 “named” glaciers and many more unnamed. We get very close to towering masses of ice so you can listen to the moves of the glaciers and see the brilliant blues in the ice. Glacier calving are normally seen on each cruise. The types of glaciers you will view are Alpine (hanging), Piedmont and Tidewater Glaciers. During your cruise, you may view sea otters, seals, porpoises and sea lions. The most common whales in Prince William Sound are Humpback and the Orca (Killer) Whale. Guests may also spot bears, bald eagles, mountain goats and over 200 species of birds inhabiting this area. A hot meal is included.

WS#03 Blackstone Bay Sea Kayaking Tour

Join us for a day of sea kayaking in the ice of Blackstone Bay. This is our most popular paddling destination. This is a perfect Prince Willliam Sound kayak tour for people with a limited amount of time. Our day will start with a charter boat ride from Whittier to a beach near the head of Blackstone Bay. We will paddle through the ice floe with harbor seals and numerous sea birds to keep us company. You and your guides will have the opportunity to safely paddle in the glaciated areas of Blackstone Bay while you explore it's natural beauty. The sights and sounds of the actively calving glaciers from the unique viewpoint of our ocean kayaks will indeed be the highlight of your trip! Along with safe and beautiful paddling, Blackstone has some short hikes to offer. Weather and time permitting, we can hike along side Lawrence Glacier for an "up close" look or hike to the top of Willard Island to enjoy one of the most spectacular views in the Sound. This trip is rife with wildlife photo opportunities from eagles to otters and more. At the end of our paddling day we will be taken by charter boat back to Whittier, a perfect day trip from Anchorage.Take a comfortable water taxi to Blackstone Bay and paddle in a kayak to the tidal glacier, watch for wildlife and enjoy the peaceful grandeur.  We promote environmental awareness through our sea kayaking operations and are equipped and staffed to offer the safest and most enjoyable kayaking experience on the Sound. Sea kayaking is a fun and relatively easy sport for all ages.

WS#04 Blackstone Bay Glacier Quest Cruise

The Glacier Quest Catamaran is your quickest way to see the massive tidewater glaciers of Alaska at Blackstone Bay and Beloit Glacier - some of the most amazing sights you will ever see. Cruise along Passage Canal and venture into magnificent Blackstone Bay, home to seven glaciers and Yosemite-scale waterfalls. Your captain and the US Forest Service ranger will point out the sites along the way. Watch for playful sea otters, harbor seals, kittiwakes, bears, whales or mountain goats. Cruise to the face of two active tidewater glacier and view spectacular alpine glacier and waterfalls while cruising through the calm waters of Prince William Sound.  The tour includes taxes, hot lunch.
