JS#1 Tracy Arm Fjords Cruise

Journey through one of the most dramatic sites in the world - Tracy Arm Fjord. This narrow fjord twists and turns for over 30 miles, culminating in a spectacular view of the twin tidewater Sawyer Glaciers. Your captain will navigate as close as the ice floe allows, stopping for an extended stay at the face of the glacier. Watch for seals relaxing on the icebergs and bald eagles soaring above the cliffs. Learn about the natural history of the fjord, glaciers and the wildlife from our onboard naturalist. Gain insights into Tlingit Native culture. Enjoy a hot lunch during your journey. Overcast days will not dampen your enjoyment as clouds and mist only heighten the drama of the fjord and intensify the glacial blue color. JS#2 Juneau Icefield Helicopter Tour and Glacier Hike 

This tour 50-60 minutes flight time that enables passengers to view more of the immense Juneau Icefield when weather permits. This tour takes you deep into the Juneau Icefield and lands in one of our permitted areas. A large portion of the 1500 square mile Juneau Icefield may be observed enroute. Weather permitting an alternate route returning to the airport provides additional scenic possibilities. Our pilots provide custom flights. A 15-minute walk supplements the narrated flight over the glacier with our pilot/guide who can answer additional questions or will use your camera to take photos of you and your friends. We provide transportation to and from the ship docks or selected downtown locations as needed. An additional 45 minutes each direction for transportation and outfitting is required

JS#3 Admiralty Island | Windfall Harbor Bear Viewing

Fly by floatplane to Admiralty Island, home to the largest concentration of brown bear in the world. This is immersion in bear territory: There’s no lodge or development out here, which means you won’t be fighting crowds to see these magnificent creatures. Depending on when you go, you’ll see bears and their mating displays, foraging for clams, or fishing for salmon. You’ll land in a small ocean cove on Admiralty Island, within the Stan Price State Wildlife Sanctuary, a protected place for brown bears. A short quarter-mile hike along a rocky beach takes you to a small bluff overlooking a meadow where you can observe bears fishing in the creek or foraging along the shoreline. There is also the possibility of a one-mile hike through towering, 500-year old spruce forest to an observation tower, where you may see spawning salmon and bears. This option has you in bear habitat for about 5-6 hours.

JS#6 Taku Glacier Lodge and 5 Glacier Floatplane Discovery 

Board your float plane on downtown Juneau's waterfront for a scenic 25 minute flight over Juneau's 1,500 square mile icecap. View huge, jagged cracks and crevasses, cascading waterfalls and the beautiful blue color of glacial ice. Each guest enjoys a window seat to get unrestricted view of up to five magnificent glaciers. The flight is also narrated. For a unique adventure, add a wilderness salmon bake to your flightseeing tour at the historic (build 1923) Taku Wilderness Lodge. JS#7 Mendenhall Glacier Float Trip 

An adventure awaits you as you paddle out onto Mendenhall Lake near the face of the majestic Mendenhall Glacier in the Tongass National Forest. Your journey takes you on an exciting ride down the Mendenhall River, which flows from the glacier. Glide across the iceberg-studded lake, marvelling at the1.5-mile-wide glacier, and set course downstream. The five-mile route combines Class II and III whitewater. The rapids are perfectly safe, just exciting enough for beginners. Encounter river features such as Moon Flats and Pin Ball Alley. Where the river levels out, soak in the views of the riverbank, lush forests, and 7,000-foot mountains above the valley floor. Learn about the natural history of the river. Be on the lookout for bald eagles, black bears, otters and seals, and salmon during spawning season. Duration: 3.5 hours

JS#5 Juneau Icefield | Glacier Sled Dog Tour

The helicopter flight is only one part of this legendary experience that includes flying over the Juneau Ice Field to the dog camp, a kennel tour and the dogsled ride. JS#8 Juneau City Tour and Mendenhall Glacier Tour

Learn about Juneau's past and present as your motorcoach takes you through the new and historic part of downtown Juneau, Alaska's capital city. See the Governor's Mansion, Gold Creek Basin, the State Capital Building, the St. Nicholas Historical Russian Orthodox Church, the Miners Museum and the Juneau Museum as well as Douglas Island with scenic views over the Gastineau Channel and towards downtown Juneau. Stop at DIPAC Salmon Hatchery to learn about the life cycle of the salmon. JS#10 Mendenhall Glacier Trekking Tour

This trek is an Alaskan glacier adventure that includes four hours hiking and climbing over the rugged terrain of the Mendenhall glacier. Upon landing, the guide teaches the basics of glacier travel and then leads your group on an exploration of the most pristine and remote areas of the glacier. Opportunities for adventure photos abound as you are introduced to and practice basic climbing and rope techniques enabling you to safely climb and descend the ice walls. The amount of walking is extensive and often on steep terrain with some technical climbing. No previous experience is necessary however you should be comfortable hiking 3-4 miles over varied and sometimes steep terrain. Duration 8 hours
